Hyperix Search, Inc. is a greater Vancouver based search engine technology company.

We've developed a vertical search platform used to create specialty, or vertical, search engines as well as business intelligence data products.

The Hyperix vertical search platform is the result of many years of hard work by many individuals. Currently our web crawlers are actively gathering data which we are using to test our platform.

Hyperix plans to launch several vertical search engines in the near term including:

• Space: As in aerospace, space exploration, astronomy, astrobiology, planetology, cosmology etc.
• Finance: Financial news, corporate reports, stock newsletters etc. Finance search results tailored to your needs.
• Biotech: Hot topics in the biotech sector include stem cell research, cloning, nanotechnology, genomics, bioinformatics, and more.

Open to Partnerships: Hyperix is open to partnering with your organization to create a vertical search engine tailored to your needs.

Hyperix web crawlers can be identified in your website log files by the following User Agent tags:

Our news crawler:

The Hyperix web crawler is compliant with the robots.txt standard. You can use the following commands to prevent it from accessing your website:

User-agent: HyperixScoop
Disallow: /

Please note that our web crawlers currently use the IP 64.40.113.147. Should this change we will post the updated IP block. If your logs show a web crawler with our user agent tag but not the IP listed above then you can be sure it is an imposter and you should block the IP.
